Differential lubricants, also known as differential oils or gear oils, are specialized lubricants used in the differentials of vehicles. The differential is a component found in the drivetrain of vehicles, typically in rear-wheel drive and four-wheel drive systems. Its main function is to distribute power evenly between the wheels while allowing them to rotate at different speeds, such as when turning corners.

1.      Lubrication: The primary purpose of differential lubricants is to provide lubrication to the gears and bearings within the differential.
